FutureSME is a four-year project funded by the European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme to determine how small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe should operate to excel in the future. Led by the University of Strathclyde, the consortium of 26 partners includes 13 manufacturing SMEs, research and development organisations and other agencies from eight countries across Europe.
Houston Bottling and Co-pack is one of the manufacturing organisations contributing to the testing and development of assessments, training materials, and online tools that will enable SMEs to develop their business capabilities in four key areas: operationally, strategically, managerially, and crucially in being able to adapt to the changing competitive environment.
